Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will manage day-to-day financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Your expertise will support the organization's financial health by executing precise bookkeeping practices, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential financial reports. Responsibilities Record and process all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks platform. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial data. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently. Prepare journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and compliance related to governmental accounting standards. Support budgeting processes and generate financial reports that provide clear insights into organizational financial health. Skills Strong proficiency in QuickBooks. Solid understanding of corporate accounting principles and non-profit accounting practices. Experience with double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, and general ledger management. Knowledge of GAAP standards and governmental accounting regulations. Ability to perform bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis accurately. Familiarity with accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll management. Excellent attention to detail along with strong organizational skills; proficiency in 10 key typing is a plus.
