Position Summary Long Industries is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This role supports daily office operations, customer interactions, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and timekeeping. This position offers the potential to grow into an Office Manager role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions Answer and direct incoming calls; greet and assist visitors and customers Manage daily administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document preparation Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) using QuickBooks Maintain accurate financial records and assist with invoicing and billing Support payroll processes, including employee timekeeping and timecard verification Assist with scheduling, office organization, and maintaining office supplies Collaborate with management to streamline office procedures and improve workflow Perform other administrative duties as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of office administration experience (preferred) Proficiency in QuickBooks, including AR/AP functions Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, professional, and able to handle a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with timekeeping or payroll systems Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, email platforms, etc.) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desire for professional growth and readiness to take on increased responsibility Growth Opportunity This role is designed with career progression in mind.
