Accounts Payable Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a well-established organization that provides essential services throughout the region. This is an onsite opportunity located in the Cedar Creek, Texas area.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily financial operations through accurate invoice processing, vendor account management, and financial record maintenance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative finance team while contributing to a meaningful organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process invoices, payments, and vendor transactions accurately and efficiently Reconcile vendor statements and maintain organized financial records Support billing, reimbursement documentation, and financial reporting activities Assist with audit preparation and other accounting-related projects as needed Collaborate with finance team members to ensure smooth departmental operations Participate in cross-training opportunities and provide administrative support to finance functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience supporting accounts payable or related accounting functions Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting tools such as Pivot Tables and lookup functions Ability to learn new financial systems and processes quickly Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This opportunity offers competitive compensation of $24-$25 per hour.
