In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and implement strategic initiatives to meet sales goals. Your leadership will foster a positive shopping environment, optimize inventory management, and uphold company standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact in a fast-paced retail setting while developing their management skills. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional customer experiences Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and ongoing development Manage employee schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maintain high team productivity Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities Handle cash management duties including cashiering, cash handling, payroll processing, and bookkeeping with accuracy Implement marketing strategies and promotional campaigns to increase store traffic and sales growth Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store standards through effective supervision and communication Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, budgeting, inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales management Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and phone etiquette Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in shift management, team management, merchandising, stock control, and marketing Organizational skills combined with time management expertise to handle multiple priorities efficiently Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales or grocery stores is preferred Join us as a Store Manager to lead a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while driving business success.
