Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented full-time Accounting Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily financial operations through accurate reconciliations, transaction entry, and maintenance of financial records. The role is essential for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our accounting processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Perform daily reconciliations and ensure all accounts are balanced. Reconcile inventory on a weekly and monthly basis. Enter daily journal entries and maintain accurate financial records. Utilize accounting software to support financial operations as needed. Work within Clinical Conductor to issue invoices and reconcile them to incoming payments for the Research department Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience as an Accounting Coordinator, Accounting Clerk, or in a similar financial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal financial reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.. Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or currently enrolled in an accounting program.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Primarily desk-based with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Handling confidential financial data requires trustworthiness and sound judgment.
