Accounting Clerk

Smith Personnel is hiring an Accounts Payable Floater to support multiple departments while maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with daily AP functions. Pay $19/hour (Based on Experience) Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm $19/ based on experience The AP Floater is responsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records while cross-training in other departments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Create purchase orders and receipt entries in ERP system (Epicor) Print and obtain signatures on purchase orders and packing slips Perform 3-way matching (invoices, purchase orders, receipts) Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals Prepare and distribute vendor checks Respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and filing systems Maintain labor cards in Excel Assist in other departments as needed (floater role) Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's degree or trade certification required OR High School Diploma/GED with 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Epicor preferred) Strong typing and data entry skills #71FW
