Pay Rate:
$22.00 Position Overview We are seeking a bilingual, highly organized Client Service Professional (CSP) / Bookkeeper for a premier accounting firm. This dual-role position requires a sharp professional who can seamlessly balance front-desk client relations with accurate, fast-paced bookkeeping support. The ideal temporary candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, exceptional clerical speed, and a polished corporate demeanor.
Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Accounting:
Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks Online and Desktop. Perform general ledger maintenance, handle journal entries, manage invoicing/billing, and process accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
Reconciliations:
Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Client & Front Desk Relations:
Manage the professional front reception desk. Answer multi-line phone systems, handle client onboarding, schedule appointments, and manage calendar systems.
Bilingual Communication:
Conduct daily verbal and written business communications fluently in both English and Spanish.
Document & Office Admin:
Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and professional correspondence. Collect, organize, and manage physical and electronic files via Microsoft OneDrive.
Required Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience and 2 years of hands-on QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) experience.
Administrative Background:
Minimum 2 years of corporate customer service and receptionist experience.
Language:
100% fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Technical Skills:
Typing speed of 60+ WPM with high accuracy.
Software Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite:
Excel:
Formulas, spreadsheets, pivot tables, data analysis, and budgeting.
Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive:
Professional templates, calendar scheduling, and cloud file organization.
Core Competencies:
Extreme attention to detail, strict adherence to financial confidentiality, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience Past employment within a tax preparation office or accounting firm. QuickBooks certified a plus Familiarity with CRM systems and specialized accounting software (e.g., Onvio, UltraTax). Desired Attributes Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
