familiarity: ERP experience relevant; S/4HANA exposure preferred Experience in a manufacturing or multi-brand distribution environment Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with backlog catch-up demands Familiarity with EDI or API-connected AP workflows The Opportunity Our client, a high-growth manufacturing and distribution company in the Greater Austin area, is seeking a temporary Accounting Associate to provide immediate support for their accounts payable function. The right candidate will step in, quickly get up to speed, and help stabilize a finance team that is currently under significant pressure. The Finance Director is actively involved in day-to-day operations, and this role exists to relieve that pressure by handling the AP workload with accuracy, speed, and a minimal need for hand-holding. Long hours should be expected in the early weeks as the team works to clear a backlog.

What You'll Do:

Accounts Payable Operations (Primary Focus): Process vendor invoices and payments through the Tipalti AP platform with a high degree of accuracy Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely and independent manner Maintain vendor records and ensure payment terms are adhered to Support month-end close activities related to AP

ERP and Systems Work:

SAP S/4HANA

to pull records, verify data, and support AP workflows Ensure alignment between Tipalti transactions and ERP data

Cross-Functional Coordination:
