Job Description

Job DescriptionJob Description Nash Builders, LTD is looking for Assistant Bookkeeper/Office Manager for our office in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. We have been in the Highland Lakes area for 30+ years. We are committed to building with integrity and take pride in being a part of the community. We are currently looking for the ideal candidate to handle all bookkeeping and office related duties, such as:
  • Process weekly payroll and all payroll filings
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Complete month end closing and prepare financial reports
  • Process annual compliance requirements such as 1099s, W2s, federal/state reporting, audits
  • Complete quarterly worker's comp reporting
  • Process journal entries as needed
  • Assist with HR related duties such as new hire paperwork and compliance reporting
  • Scanning and filing
  • Answer phones and greet guests
  • Light office cleaning
  • Monitor and replenish supplies
  • Special projects as requested The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
  • 4+ years of recent full cycle bookkeeping experience, construction industry preferred
  • Strong payroll experience including state/federal compliance knowledge
  • Experience with Sage 100 Contractor is a huge bonus!
  • Ability to multi-task and high attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to maintain professionalism with staff and clients
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
  • Independent and organized We do offer a flexible schedule and can consider full or part time for this position.
