Job Description

Accounts Receivable Specialist Location Irving, TX Compensation $22.00 per hour Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 37.5 hours per week Summary The Accounts Receivable Specialist I supports customer-facing financial operations by assisting clients with account access, invoice retrieval, payment processing, and billing-related inquiries. This role performs routine accounts receivable functions, helps resolve billing issues, and contributes to a positive customer experience while maintaining accurate financial records. The position works under general supervision and develops working knowledge of internal accounting systems and billing processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists customers with accessing their accounts, retrieving invoices, and making payments through online platforms. Provides guidance on navigating online billing portals, including payments, invoices, and account history. Researches and resolves routine billing inquiries and escalates more complex issues as appropriate. Performs billing activities for products and services as requested. Maintains accurate documentation of customer communications and account activity. Generates invoices and account statements and verifies the accuracy of account information. Processes account adjustments and billing corrections as directed. Participates in cross-training activities to support operational continuity and maintain effective internal controls. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 0-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, customer service, or a related field. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software systems. Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Required Skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Customer-focused approach with effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. #IRVING1234
