Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Coordinator to join our team at the Laredo Terminal. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including billing, collections, and payment tracking Handle Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice entry, verification, and vendor payments Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner Assist with time sheet tracking and processing for payroll support Maintain organized financial records and documentation Perform general administrative tasks to support accounting and office operations Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting as needed Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same or related field Knowledge of AR/AP processes and invoicing Bilingual in English and Spanish is required Experience with Workday is considered an asset Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits Opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic team Career growth and advancement opportunities within the organization Competitive compensation package Collaborative and fast-paced work environment
