Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Maintain financial security by following internal controls Comply with federal, state and local financial legal requirements Reconciliation of billing statements and transactions Ensure expenses are properly allocated Maintain vendor/client confidence and protect operations Maintain financial historical records Other Duties Prepare files and other necessary documents for annual audit and State and Federal monitoring Process vendor and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolve discrepancies by using standard procedures Gather and audit data for monthly reports to funding sources Gather and audit in-kind materials and input data for in-kind tracking system Responsible for preparing reports to funding sources File necessary reports with appropriate funding sources through on-line reporting system Contribute to the team effort by completing other duties as indicated Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency required Business College training in accounting/bookkeeping or 2 years work experience preferred Strong organizational skills required Computer literate with Excel proficiency required Experience in federal funding programs preferred Familiarity with A/P and A/R procedure
