Accounts Receivable Specialist Location:
Houston, TX Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage incoming payments, ensure timely collections, and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in handling billing and collections processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances Follow up on overdue payments via calls and emails Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications Prepare reports on accounts receivable status Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing operations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Good experience in accounts receivable or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) Excellent communication and organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of collections best practices
