This position serves as a key link between operations and accounting, helping ensure the accuracy of inventory records, production transactions, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
DUTIES:
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Assist with month-end closing activities and general ledger analysis. Reconcile daily production transactions and investigate discrepancies. Support job costing processes through reporting, analysis, and transaction review. Coordinate inventory cycle counts and research and resolve count variances and transaction errors. Support production, warehouse, and accounting personnel to maintain accurate production and inventory records. Prepare weekly and monthly operational and inventory reports. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and reporting processes. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned. Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory control, accounting support, or related operational roles. Experience working with inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes. Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, filtering, and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze data and resolve discrepancies independently. Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and accounting teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
