Job Description
A growing healthcare services organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its finance department. This role will focus on billing, payment posting, account reconciliation, and collections support while helping maintain the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Essential DutiesAR & Billing FunctionsPrepare and distribute invoices accurately and timelyPost payments and reconcile customer accountsMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balancesResearch and resolve billing discrepanciesAssist with cash application and payment trackingSupport month-end AR reporting and reconciliationsFinancial CoordinationWork closely with accounting and operations teams regarding account issuesMaintain organized account documentation and recordsAssist with reporting and audit preparation activitiesSupport process improvement initiatives within the accounting department
