Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant to join our group. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial transactions, support administrative functions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with various financial software systems. Your energetic approach and proactive attitude will help streamline processes and support our company's growth. Responsibilities Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately within accounting software such as QuickBooks. Reconcile accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies efficiently. Maintain organized records of all financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations. Perform account reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger and supporting audit processes. Assist with administrative tasks such as, but not limited to, answering inquiries, managing correspondence, greeting visitors, and supporting office operations to enhance overall efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience in accounts payable processing, bookkeeping, or related accounting roles; experience in public accounting is a plus. Strong understanding of financial concepts, including debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliation. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for accurate account reconciliation and data entry. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy under deadlines; Computer skills, telephone skills, email correspondence & 10 key typing skills are required. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
