Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for processing vendor invoices, maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting month-end closing activities to maintain strong vendor relationships and accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and post vendor invoices into accounting system. Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents; resolve discrepancies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding items. Maintain AP files and vendor master data; set up new vendors and update vendor information. Monitor and manage accounts payable aging; escalate overdue items. Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely, professional manner. Assist with audits and provide documentation as requested. Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience; experience with QuickBooks preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks. Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
