Monday-Friday | 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Hourly (Non-Exempt) EMI Health has served members since 1935 and is known for award-winning customer service and a supportive workplace culture. We're hiring an Accounting Clerk to help with everyday accounting tasks and keep financial records accurate and organized. What You'll Do Enter and process accounts payable invoices Confirm approvals and enter vouchers accurately Create and manage check batches Help process monthly commission payments and verify premiums Support IRS paperwork (W-9 and 1099 forms) Prepare and distribute Form 5500 Schedule A information sheets Use Excel and accounting software for tracking and reporting Provide general clerical support to the accounting team as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate degree or higher in Accounting/Finance (preferred) 2+ years of accounting or office clerical experience (preferred) Accounts payable and/or commission processing experience (a plus) Strong Excel skills (pivot tables/advanced functions preferred) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Benefits Paid medical and dental coverage for employees Paid time off and paid holidays Vision, life, disability, HSA, and retirement savings plans Onsite fitness center and subsidized mass transit passes Supportive team environment and growth opportunities EMI Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer as defined by the EEOC.
