Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage and maintain financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with accounting software. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date Process invoices, payments, and expense reports Maintain general ledger and financial records Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements Monitor cash flow and track company expenses Support budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations Collaborate with accountants or auditors during financial reviews Process payroll and assist with payroll reporting Prepare sales tax data and filings as needed Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting processes Maintain organized and secure financial documentation Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred) Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
