Job Description
Part Time Accounting Assistant We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, detail-oriented person with strong analytical skills to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. This is a part-time position and will work closely with the Accounting Manager on various bookkeeping and accounting tasks such as: Record and match bank deposits, check postings, and ACH drafts Log and match credit card receipts and charges Enter invoices/bills and prepare check payments Reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit card statements Input data into spreadsheets and file sales tax returns and paid invoices. The ideal candidate will have experience using QuickBooks (QB Online preferred) and Microsoft Excel, along with a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles in a small- to medium-sized business environment. They will also be selfmotivated, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality. The work schedule will o?er flexibility within the range of 10 to 20 hours per week during business hours, with no weekends or holidays. The hourly rate is negotiable and will be based on applicable accounting knowledge and experience.
