Job Description

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day financial operations for a healthcare organization in Middleburg, Virginia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing invoice activity in a fast-paced onsite environment. The role focuses on maintaining accurate payment records, supporting vendor communication, and helping ensure timely processing across the accounts payable cycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, from receiving invoices through final payment processing and record completion.
  • Examine invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper supporting documentation before submission for payment.
  • Guide invoices through the appropriate approval workflow to help ensure timely authorization and processing.
  • Address questions from vendors and internal departments by providing clear updates on payment status, documentation, and account details.
  • Create, update, and organize vendor records to maintain accurate file information and support compliance standards.
  • Perform routine audits of payable transactions to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and strengthen accuracy in financial records.
  • Enter and maintain accounts payable data in spreadsheets and accounting platforms while preserving a high level of precision.
