Accounts Payable Specialist | Luxury Resort | Salamander Middleburg Resort & Spa |Full-TimeSalamander Middleburg Resort & Spa, a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond luxury destination, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about accuracy, organization, and supporting operational excellence.
Position SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment execution. This position ensures all financial transactions are accurate, compliant, and completed in a timely manner.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and enter high-volume invoices with accuracy and efficiencyReview invoices for proper coding, approvals, and complianceMaintain and update vendor files and accounting system recordsCoordinate and track invoice approvals and payment timelinesPrepare and batch payments in accordance with company proceduresRespond to vendor and internal inquiries, resolving discrepancies promptlyAudit invoices for accuracy and tax complianceSupport general accounting processes and reporting as neededQualificationsAssociate or bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2 years of Accounts Payable, and Hospitality Finance experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Sage and ProfitSword.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skillsAbility to handle high-volume workload with accuracy and controlExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, interacting professionally with hourly associates, managers, directors, the Managing Director, and corporate partners.
