In this vital role, you will manage the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances and maintaining accurate financial records. Your expertise in accounting software, financial concepts, and customer service will drive efficiency and accuracy in our revenue cycle management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization committed to excellence and growth. Responsibilities Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to invoices and receipts. Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), credit card transactions and paper checks. Generate and send accurate customer invoices. Reconcile customer accounts by verifying discrepancies and resolving billing issues promptly. Monitor aging reports and collaborate with clients to follow up on overdue accounts through effective negotiation and phone etiquette. Prepare detailed journal entries for revenue recognition, account adjustments, and write-offs in compliance with GAAP standards. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including data entry of invoices, payments, and account analysis. Assist with month-end closing activities, including the preparation of Accounts Receivable journal entries, reconciliations and reporting. Assist in continuous improvement of accounts receivable processes. Provide support for internal department inquiries related to customer balances. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in an accounts receivable role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Sharepoint, Versapay, Outlook, Excel and Word. Strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and revenue cycle management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Successful completion of a background check. Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for account analysis and data entry accuracy. Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently along with basic math skills for journal entries and account reconciliation. Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette for negotiation and customer service interactions. Ability to multi-task. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the manufacturing industry. Experience with NetSuite ERP. Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-subsidiary accounting environments.
