Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Book Keeper to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily accounting activities, and ensuring all bookkeeping processes comply with company policies and industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience with accounting software, excellent organizational skills, and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. This position offers opportunity for professional growth and advancement. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and transaction using QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Process and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable activities efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow. Assist in preparing of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Complete payroll-related tax filings to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Perform sales reconciliation for Shopify, Affirm, Paypay and Authorize.net Conduct account analysis and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner. Maintain organizaed financial records and support audits or financial reviews as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks. Solid understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits, and credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting. Familiarity with payroll tax filings and general tax regulations. Experience with account reconciliations and bank reconciliation procedures. Excellent attention to detail with strong organziational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
