Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for an organization based in Bellevue, Washington. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage core accounting activities with accuracy, maintain reliable records, and help produce timely financial information for leadership. The role will contribute to smooth month-end processes, audit readiness, and consistent handling of payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
  • Record and maintain general ledger activity by preparing journal entries and completing routine account reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing vendor payments and tracking incoming funds accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit card statements, and investment accounts to ensure financial data is complete and correct.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and help compile financial reports for leadership and board-level review.
  • Provide audit support by gathering requested records, preparing documentation, and responding to financial information requests.
  • Organize and maintain accounting files in a manner that supports strong financial controls and easy access to documentation.
  • Use QuickBooks to enter, review, and monitor financial transactions across core bookkeeping processes.
