Job Description

Controller / BookkeeperJoin Our Growing Team We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Controller / Bookkeeper to oversee financial operations across multiple companies. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things accurate, organized, and running smoothly while supporting both accounting and administrative functions. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent experience with QuickBooks Online Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience Experience managing bookkeeping across multiple entities or companies Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or equivalent spreadsheet software) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and document management Previous office administration and executive support experience Experience with payroll processing Basic Human Resources experience including onboarding, personnel records, and employee support Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information Primary Responsibilities Manage daily bookkeeping operations for multiple companies Process and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Perform reconciliations Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing Support HR functions including employee onboarding and recordkeeping Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems Prepare spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, and business documents Coordinate administrative projects and assist leadership as needed Ensure compliance with company policies and financial proceduresPreferred Qualifications Experience in a small business or multi-company environment Familiarity with inventory tracking and reporting Strong problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills Experience improving office systems and workflows Bonus Points If you acquired your organizational skills, work ethic, and common sense in the 1900s , we consider that a valuable asset.
