This role ensures accurate invoice, timely collections, and effective customer communication. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Finance Manager in Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll functions to maintain financial accuracy and operational efficiency. You will collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Manager, as well as operations and client experience teams, to uphold data integrity and cash flow. As our systems evolve, this position offers growth into advanced accounting duties. Key Responsibilities Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts Record and reconcile payments in Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment status Resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams Track AR metrics (e.g., Days Sales Outstanding) and collection goals Recommend and implement AR process improvements Reconcile payments (ACH, check, credit card) and account statements Maintain digital financial records and respond to inquiries Assist with biweekly payroll and maintain payroll records Ensure compliance with tax filings (federal, state, local, B&O) Adjust inventory per warehouse reconciliation Manage facilities, equipment maintenance, and supply orders Maintain confidential and HR files Reconcile bank statements and support monthly payroll Record AP/AR transactions and document financial details Stay current on tax and payroll regulations and apply updates Process manufacturer rebates and claims Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in AR or bookkeeping or equivalent education and training Proficiency in Sage 50 (Formerly Peachtree) and Microsoft Excel (including formulas) Strong knowledge of accounting principles Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Must pass background, credit, and drug screening Benefits Medical coverage after 90 days (eligibility required) Paid holidays and PTO (eligibility required) 401(k) retirement plan (eligibility required) Opportunities for professional development and advancement Performance-based bonus potential Office hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4
