- $30 per hour, Depending on experience Position Summary Tangen Hospitality is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to support the financial and operational side of our growing hospitality group.
This role is focused on hospitality accounting operations. The position supports multiple restaurant and bar locations through reconciliations, accounts payable, reporting, vendor management, and day-to-day accounting. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location hospitality environment. Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and bill pay processes Maintain vendor files, W9s, and payment information Assist with reconciliations for credit cards, deposits, cash handling, and POS reporting Support CFO with weekly accounting tasks. Month-end reporting and financial organization Assist leadership with financial and operational reporting requests Organize and maintain accounting documentation Work closely with CFO, operations, HR, and management teams across multiple locations Help improve internal systems, organization, and accounting processes Maintain confidentiality with financial and employee information Provide general administrative and operational support as needed Assist with special projects and company initiatives as assigned Perform other duties, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned based on operational and business needs Qualifications 3-5 years previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or financial operations experience preferred Hospitality, restaurant, bar, or multi-location business experience strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable working with spreadsheets, financial reporting, and operational data Experience with Paylocity, QuickBooks, or similar systems is a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Professional, dependable, and trustworthy with confidential information Ability to adapt to changing business and operational needs Schedule 30-40 hours per week In office, Located in Spokane, WA Some communication outside standard business hours may occasionally be needed Benefits & Perks Employee discounts at all Tangen Hospitality locations Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding hospitality group Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance About Tangen Hospitality Tangen Hospitality operates multiple restaurant, bar, and nightlife concepts throughout Spokane.
