Accounts Receivable Generalist

Accounts Receivable Generalist We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for maintaining accounts receivable functions with a strong emphasis on invoice processing, cash posting, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of broader back-office accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger support. Responsibilities Process and post customer payments accurately and timely Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies Post cash receipts and complete daily cash reporting Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable and cash posting Provide backup support for accounts payable and general ledger functions Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments Qualifications Experience in accounts receivable and cash posting required Working knowledge of general accounting procedures, including accounts payable and general ledger Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Schedule In-office position Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation & Benefits Compensation $28-$30 per hour DOE Paid vacation Health benefits 401(k) with company matching Are you the type of accounting professional who can research issues, solve problems, and ask questions when needed?
