The AP Specialist is a fully onsite role that handles both corporate accounting functions and support to branch locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Process high volume AP invoices Run reports as needed Manage AP processes Process inter-company transfers and transmittals Track and apply credits and refunds with vendors Statement processing Credit card tracking and reconciliation Maintain and post in GL Verify correct application of sales tax Complete credit applications and tax information requests Work within department and cross-functionally with other departments Assist bookkeepers at other store locations Reconcile trial balances Process physical checks for payments Accounting training as needed Answer phones and filing Assist Senior Accountant and/or Controller as needed Assist sales department as needed

Qualifications:

Based on experience North Central Utility is one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in the nation and the largest in the North Central region with 10 locations throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota. We offer reefer, dry van and flatbed trailers from Utility Trailer Manufacturing at all locations and vocational trailers from MAC Trailers in Wisconsin - we sell new and used semi-trailers. With Moore Space, we offer temporary storage container solutions as well. Our parts department has an extensive inventory in Heavy-Duty Truck/Tractor and Trailer parts. Our broad product line and geographic coverage ensures we are a "One Stop Shop" for truck and semi-trailer parts. Our service department offers everything from routine maintenance, certified DOT inspections to precision laser alignment, as well as complete wreck repair for trailers of all makes and models. No job is too big or too small for our skilled service technicians.
