Job Description

Position Summary The Accounting Clerk II is responsible for the collection and processing of information for maintaining supplier accounts to ensure timely and accurate payments. This role also provides general accounting support for finance initiatives, audits, and special projects. Domestic travel may be required. Essential Functions Efficient processing of invoices and documents Review aged payable reports to identify potential issues Efficient and accurate posting of all accounts payable transactions Provide supplier support regarding outstanding invoices Provide audit support for Accounts Payable invoice related selections Understanding of sales and use tax laws to accommodate accurate and timely filing Understanding of 1099 tax to accommodate accurate and timely filing Monitor account charging along with authorization policy Respond to departmental requests as needed Other duties as assigned Required Skills Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization Strong initiative and responsiveness in resolving issues accurately and within established timeframes Continuous improvement skills with the ability to identify process efficiencies Maintain a strong, detail-oriented understanding of the procure-to-pay (P2P) process Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness Education and Experience Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 2 Years of related experience required.
