This position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in supporting accurate financial operations and ensuring timely, efficient payment processes. The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide administrative and operational support to the Accounting team across a wide range of accounts payable functions. This position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized team player. The primary responsibilities for this role include:
Invoice Processing & Payment Support:
Receive, review, code and process vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.Vendor Setup and Maintenance:
Assist with vendor onboarding, maintain vendor records, and respond to routine vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.Expense & Payment Administration:
Support employee expense reimbursement processing and assist with weekly and monthly payment runs.Benefits Administration:
Support the processing of monthly benefit invoices and respond to routine benefit-related questions.Compliance & Controls:
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures, maintain AP documentation, and assist with compliance reviews.Accounts Payable Operations & General Support:
Support day-to-day AP operations, assist with finance-related projects, and provide administrative support to the Finance team as needed. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience in an Accounting environment. Exceptional multitasking is essential, along with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Elite/3E system is preferred. Additional qualifications include excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills and a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities accurately in a fast-paced setting.
