Personal Financial Officer (PFO)

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Personal Financial Officer (PFO), where you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients toward achieving their financial goals with confidence and clarity. Responsible for assisting members with their financial needs while providing exceptional member service. Accepts and inputs loan applications; and assists members in completing the loan process and helping them to obtain the required documentation. Opens deposit product accounts and takes applications for all non-real estate credit products. Supports the overall functions of the branch. Responsibilities Meet with members to help navigate available products that would best help their situation. Educate members on various financial and credit solutions. Works loan pipelines, understands loan documentation, and follows through to obtain all required documentation from members. Opens and is familiar with all deposit and loan products. Can analyze and request service tickets, if applicable. Provides required disclosures to applicants for all applicable loans that are initiated. Cross sells accounts and loans, including making referrals to our Mortgage Loan Officer. Consistently ensures that GAP and Payment Protection is offered to members to better protect their investment. Resolves member issues/problems, provides professional responses to member inquiries and consistently demonstrates first-hand resolution. Educates members to the use of available automated systems in order and sets them up for these services, including online banking, e-statements and other electronic communication tools that are or may be offered in the future. Serves as key holder and assists the branch manager with duties as needed. There will be ongoing, required training in this role. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year of customer service or sales experience, preferably within a financial institution. A combination of education and experience will also be considered. Prior teller or lending experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand and explain credit bureau reports, liaise with members in satisfying loan stipulations, schedule closings and process loan documents. Demonstrated ability in understanding and recommending appropriate deposit and loan products based on member needs. Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality. Must have or be able to attain National Mortgage Licensing System registration (NMLS#). Must have a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.

Pay:

$24.04 - $25.80 per hour
