Mosinee, Wisconsin ABR is recruiting an Accounting Clerk for a client in Mosinee, WI. This company has a beautiful office and a great culture! Starting wage is $21-$22 per hour and full benefits upon hire. The Accounting Clerk will performs a variety of routine and some nonroutine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial area. Reconciles bank accounts, posts information and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payments and compiles segments of monthly closings, annual reports, etc. Contacts other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
Accounting Clerk Duties:
Accounts for all computer generated, general ledger entries and verify accuracy. Maintaining new accusations and disposal of fixed assets. Accounts payable, wiring funds, check disbursement, and filing of invoices. Daily branch to corporate reconciliation including but not limited to, balances all cashier check and money order stubs for checks disbursed at corporate headquarters to the daily check register report and prepares for scanning. Assist in month end duties and personal property tax statements as assigned. Entry of all required manual general ledger entries. Responsible for assisting with the back up role for ACH processing as needed. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Performs other duties as assigned.
Accounting Clerk Qualifications:
2-5 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
A 2-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school requiring approximately 64 credit hours ABR Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
