Job Description
EIG Risk is currently seeking a Sr. Account Manager to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of demonstrated experience servicing, managing, retaining, and expanding an existing book of commercial insurance business within the P&C specialty sector. Proficiency in agency management software and Microsoft Office is required. Spanish fluency is required.
Position Overview:
The Account Manager will support the organization's overall group of insurance professionals by working with emerging agents and managing a book of business to enable the agents to reach a high level of production and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. Services, manages, retains, and expands an existing book of insurance business. Initiates quote requests. Communicates directly with underwriters. Resolves issues and responds to advanced technical questions. Manages daily service responsibilities related to client accounts, including endorsement processing and routine coverage inquiries. Responds to client requests and coordinates through the point of sale to collect signed documentation, deliver executed documents to underwriters, and obtain any additional information required to finalize bind requests from agents (ex: loss runs). Follows up with underwriters to secure quotations. Markets renewals to carriers on behalf of clients and assists in marketing new business opportunities. Ensures policy renewals are completed on schedule and that client coverage is reviewed at least annually to confirm appropriate coverage levels. Sends renewal notices and ongoing correspondence to clients throughout the year.Client Contact:
Builds and maintains strong client relationships during the servicing and renewal process for assigned accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention. Reviews and determines policy coverages to be entered into the agency management system. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of activities, deadlines, renewal dates, coverage details, endorsements, and correspondence within the system to ensure real-time information. Updates databases and spreadsheets as needed. Prepares or delegates the preparation and coordinates delivery of certificates of insurance, policies, endorsements, and invoices to clients. Reports and records loss notices with carriers. Maintains consistent communication with the Managing Directors. Performs desktop publishing tasks regularly to assist with the development of marketing materials and PowerPoint presentations. Produces general correspondence, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business reports, and financial reports. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding company marketing initiatives and business matters. Performs additional duties as assigned.Requirements:
5+ years of proven experience demonstrating the ability to service, manage, retain, and grow an existing book of commercial insurance business, within the P&C sector. Strong written and verbal communication skills (professional-level English and Spanish). Must communicate clearly and concisely and represent the company professionally both in person and over the phone with a courteous, service-oriented demeanor. Professional business attire is required. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced business environment. Analytical skills required to gather and summarize data for reporting, resolve issues, and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Must possess strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Active Insurance license required (in Florida, an active 2-20 license is required) AMS 360 proficiency or similar agency management software experience strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related applications required.About EIG Risk:
