Client Relations and Operations Associate Annie Mac Financial Sterling Heights, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Retirement plan Qualifications Financial operations Interpersonal skills Executive administrative support Attention to detail Client services Office supply ordering Account opening Full Job Description Client Relations and Operations Associate This position provides full support to the President of Annie Mac Financial, affiliated with LPL Financial. We are a unique, full-service financial planning firm that specializes in providing successful individuals, businesses and families a professional, consultative wealth management experience combining advanced financial planning, investment and insurance advice, and overall relationship management. In this position, you will be actively involved in supporting planning, implementation, sales and service of investment advisory and insurance products through a full service brokerage platform. This is NOT a sales position. The following are some of the responsibilities of this position:
  • Ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact with clients, wholesalers, and internal and external operations employees, while complying at all times with regulatory standards. Responsible for answering phones, greeting clients, and prospects.
  • Performing all types of service transactions for clients, including but not limited to processing trades, deposits and withdrawals, answering client questions, etc.
  • Scheduling meetings and reminder follow-ups, preparing necessary reports to be used in client meetings and account reviews and preparing any necessary account documents and transfer paperwork under the direction of the President.
  • Performing basic data entry for financial plans (experience with E-Money or WealthVision is a plus).
  • Researching client issues internally and with our external independent broker/dealer, LPL Financial.
  • General office management and operational duties, such as maintaining supply orders and maintaining office equipment in working order (coordinating repair visits), filing, scheduling for the President, handling bank deposits, and assisting with the marketing endeavors of the firm in an administrative capacity.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of CRM software (WealthBox experience preferred but not required).
  • Multi-tasking projects with extreme attention to detail.
  • Mastering communication and correspondence, via phone, mail and e-mail communications.
  • Distribution of e-mail newsletters and other mailings and social media postings to prospects and clients.
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
  • Common sense, drive, discipline, and a desire to assist others in meeting their financial goals.
  • Prior experience in financial planning support preferred.
B.A./B.S.
degree preferred but not required. (Series 7, 6 and/or 65/66 is a plus)
  • Knowledge of LPL Financial and/or ClientWorks is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and advisors.
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Willing to adapt to change and not "set in your ways."
  • Polished, articulate and business-like in appearance and demeanor.
  • Mustbe able to prioritize tasks and to work independently to research and resolve client issues on a daily or ongoing basis, and to determine the most efficient method of problem resolution while complying with corporate and regulatory procedures.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the appropriate paperwork and procedures necessary to process transactions and to open accounts.
  • Strong organizational and client services skills with a particular emphasis on attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker, can work both independently and with others, and is comfortable exercising judgment and common sense and making decisions based on given business situations.
  • Effective and proven written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong inclination toward client service.
  • Capable of functioning in a fast-paced environment while not sacrificing quality of work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet research engines and procedures.
