The primary purpose of this position is to assist in administrative tasks, manage client interactions, and facilitate efficient processing of insurance policies and claims. Key Responsibilities
    Client Interaction:
    Serve as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone. Answer inquiries, provide information about insurance policies, and assist clients with their needs.
      Administrative Support:
      Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Maintain organized records of client information, policy documents, and claims.
        Policy Processing:
        Assist in the preparation and processing of insurance policies. Ensure that all required documentation is complete and accurate before submission.
          Claims Assistance:
          Support clients in the claims process by gathering necessary information, completing forms, and liaising with claims adjusters.
            Document Management:
            Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring that all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
              Compliance:
              Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with insurance regulations and company policies. Stay updated with the latest industry standards and guidelines.
                Communication:
                Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams. Provide updates and follow-ups as required.
                  Customer Service:
                  Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally. Strive to enhance client satisfaction and build positive relationships.
                    Assisting Brokers:
                    Provide support to insurance brokers in preparing quotes, proposals, and other client-related documents.
                      Meeting Coordination:
                      Schedule and coordinate meetings between clients and brokers, ensuring all necessary preparations are made.
                        Billing and Payments:
                        Assist in managing billing processes, including invoicing and processing payments from clients. QualificationsEducation and Experience
                          Education:
                          A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field is an asset.
                            Experience:
                            Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the insurance industry, is highly desirable. Skills and Competencies
                            • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
                            • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
                            • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
                            • Proficiency with insurance management systems. Expertise with Epic system highly desirable.
                            • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
                            • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
                            • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
                            • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
                            Certifications:
                            Any relevant certifications in insurance or office administration will be considered a plus.
                            • Familiarity with insurance terminology, policies, and procedures is an advantage.

                            Work Environment The Billing Clerk position is a full-time role based at our office.
