Job Description

UMB Institutional Banking encompasses the following areas: Corporate Trust, Distressed Debt, FDIC Sweep, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Investment Banking, Investor Solutions and Public Finance. It combines institutionally focused capabilities into one cohesive unit, serving the entire institutional marketplace from smaller correspondent banks and municipalities to the largest broker-dealers and mutual fund companies in the United States. As a Transfer Agency Operations Rep, you will be responsible for all data entry processing for incoming shareholder requests. You will set up new accounts, process transactions and various account maintenance items. As you grow your skills and become more proficient in your work, you will have the opportunity to join the research team. This will require direct follow up with clients on outstanding issues. The Transfer Agency team works hard but, in a fun, relaxed environment where the dress code is casual. You will be able to manage your work individually but still have a team around them to offer support when needed. There is a busy season for this role and the approach is to manage as a team. How you'll spend your time: Utilize your high attention to detail to properly process transactions to achieve complete accuracy Provide good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members/manager as well as clients Be flexible and willing to adapt to meet shifting priorities We're excited to talk with you if: Bachelor's Degree. Six months transaction processing, office or customer service experience. Significant transaction processing experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, preferably in a financial service or mutual fund environment.

Knowledge of financial services industry. Six months related financial experience; can include internship experience.
Compensation Range:
$32,640.00 - $62,640.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
