Control number 870058500 This job is open to Help The public U.S. Citizens, Nionals or those who owe allegiance to the U.S. Duties Help Analyze and interpret federal stutes and regulions, directives, policies and procedures, and court rules and orders affecting the work of the Clerk's Office. Conduct research and provide procedural and policy advice on mters applicable to Clerk's Office operions. Research administrive and operional questions, problems, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide editorial reviews of manuals and other documents, as directed. Collect, review, audit, and analyze da and informion reled to budgetary and financial concerns, court operions and activities, and other court stistical da. Develop a variety of reports based on historical and current da, including stistics on budget and expense projections, court operions, and other planning tools. Assist with preparing the annual budget and spending plans. Perform da analysis and budget modeling based on provided scenarios. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external requirements imposed by law, policy, and regulions. Assist in internal controls monitoring and quality assurance reviews of court business processes to assess compliance and efficiency. Advise managers, executives, and judges and serve as project manager on special initiives th may include operions management and process improvement, budget, procurement, staffing, property management, and other reled issues. Serve as liaison with partner agencies with respect to facility security emergency management planning. Assist in the management of continuity of operions plans, occupant emergency plans, and facility security committees. Coordine exigent building closures and the emergency notificion system. Coordine with other governmental agencies, court units, the Bar, and the public. Perform other duties, as assigned. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Employees must be United Stes citizens or eligible to work in the United Stes. Employees hired provisionally pending the results of a background investigion. Employees are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct for Judicial Employees . Employees are required to use Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) for payroll deposit. Qualificions Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience th provided an opportunity to exercise sound judgment in a challenging environment, gain strong interpersonal skills, and develop a practical understanding of principles, concepts, and tools of organizional management. At least two (2) of the five (5) years of experience must have been in a position th provided an opportunity to acquire an organizional perspective of processes and practices in the areas of business operions, budget administrion, financial management, and/or case management. Experience within the Federal Government is preferred, and experience within the Federal Judiciary favored.
Other Requirements:
The incumbent must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills; able to communice accurely, effectively, and timely with colleagues, senior executives, and across agencies; and highly skilled in the use of automed systems and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and dabases. Educion Applicants must possess a bachelor's degree. A juris doctor or master's degree in court administrion, public administrion, accounting, finance, or law favored. Additional informion Travel between geographical divisions is required to interact with judges and staff, identify issues, and analyze work processes. Recurring telework may be available per policy the discretion of the Clerk of Court. Positions with the U.S. District Court Clerk's Office are Excepted Service appointments.
