This position is full-time and located onsite, offering the opportunity to engage in meaningful financial planning and analysis activities that support the university's mission and goals. Responsibilities Work within the Business Office, reporting directly to the Director of Budget and Reporting. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the CFO/VP and the Controller, to ensure financial accuracy and transparency. Play a pivotal role in planning, developing, monitoring, and analyzing the budget. Support the development of annual operating and capital budgets, and conduct quarterly forecasts and re-projections. Build and maintain budget models and forecasting tools to facilitate financial planning. Perform monthly budget vs. actual analysis, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. Prepare financial reports and insights for leadership, providing ad hoc analysis to aid decision-making. Collaborate with various departments to review budgets, provide financial guidance, and support decision-making processes. Assist in maintaining budget software systems and support audits and documentation compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and budget modeling. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Work Hours This position requires working from Monday to Friday, aligning with first-shift hours.
