Principal Duties and Responsibilities Performs program set-up, planning and control Participates in budget preparation and monitoring of expenses Participates in preparing estimates and cost proposals Prepares contract work authorizations Performs cost and schedule variance analysis and provides resulting recommendations Prepares manpower and non-labor forecasts and assists in resource planning Prepares or assists with preparation of cost-to-complete At COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience Minimum of 3 years related experience in budgeting, financial analysis, program control, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and variances Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance may be required. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of government contract funding and financial management processes Experience supporting DoD or federal government contracts Experience with contract types such as Cost-Plus, T&M, and Firm Fixed Price Experience supporting Program Managers directly Active DoD security clearance (Secret or higher) Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
