is seeking candidates for a Budget Specialist role who will support the preparation and maintenance of institutional operating and capital budgets. The successful candidate will analyze and prepare timely and accurate budgetary, financial, and legislative data for multiple cost centers. Ideally, candidates for this role will have strong technical skills, having advanced knowledge of MS Excel, some Power BI and Hyperion experience and strong software skills used in financial or budgetary analysis. Budget Specialist:

Administer updates to tables, maintain queries and nVision reports. Support financial system implementations, upgrades, and data ownership standards in collaboration with IT specialists. Process financial documents in budget and general ledger systems. Prepare and analyze financial data for timely reporting to government agencies and department leaders. Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies of the

Budget Specialist:

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, and financial analysis software. Familiarity with financial, budgetary, and fiscal planning techniques in academic and healthcare settings. Advanced skills in MS Office products, particularly Excel (including macro capabilities). Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Minimum of two years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial analysis, or reporting (a combination of education and experience may be accepted). Advanced experience in MS Excel.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Master's degree in a business-related field. Experience with PeopleSoft
