ANALYST - 250 DAY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/REQUIREMENTS

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Supervisor of Budget, the Senior Budget Analyst will assist with the development, preparation, oversight, and reporting of department and school budgets for Prince William County Schools (PWCS). The Senior Budget Analyst will conduct complex analyses for the annual and long-range financial plan. The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of financial management principles to monitor the progress towards the Divisions strategic plan.

Job Description SALARY:

FY26 Grade 14: $97,631 - $158,261 (Competitive benefits) This position is effective July 1, 2026. Annualized compensation will be published upon approval of the FY27 salary scales and will reflect amounts for Steps 1 - 20.
