The CFO will be responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting, including financial reporting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow management, banking relationships, audit coordination, tax compliance, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have experience within a project-based organization and a strong understanding of Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting . This individual will work closely with operations and project leadership to oversee project profitability, revenue recognition, forecasting, work-in-progress reporting, and overall financial performance. The CFO will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting growth initiatives, and providing strategic financial guidance to the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience. Prior experience as a CFO, VP Finance, Corporate Controller, or senior finance executive. Strong experience with Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting and project-based revenue recognition. Experience within construction, engineering, industrial services, specialty contracting, infrastructure, manufacturing projects, or other project-driven environments. Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and banking relationships. Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and internal controls. Proven ability to partner with operations leadership to improve profitability and financial performance. Experience with acquisitions, integrations, and private equity-backed organizations is a plus.
Pay:
$225,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
