Job Description Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Full-Time About the Company We are a growing construction services company committed to operational excellence, strong client relationships, and disciplined financial management. The organization partners closely with executive leadership to scale responsibly and sustainably. Role Overview The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial function and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. This role is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-term financial strategy. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of overseeing day-to-day finance operations while guiding the company's financial direction and supporting growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership Partner with operations to align financial performance with growth objectives Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and financial risk Accounting & Reporting Oversee accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and present financial statements and executive-level reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements Team & Process Management Lead finance and accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, payroll, and reporting Drive process improvements and system enhancements Establish, maintain, and enforce internal controls and financial SOPs Stakeholder Engagement Communicate financial performance and insights to ownership and leadership Manage banking relationships and capital planning activities Qualifications 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills Proven experience scaling financial operations in construction or service-based environments Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance Benefits Paid time off and holidays Flexible work environment Parental leave Professional development opportunities
