Manufacturing / Engineering / Agricultural Operations Position Overview We are seeking a hands‑on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all accounting and financial operations for a growing manufacturing/engineering company. This role is ideal for a finance leader who enjoys being involved in day‑to‑day accounting while partnering closely with ownership, sales, and operations to support pricing, budgeting, cash flow, and performance analysis. The CFO will manage the full accounting cycle, supervise the bookkeeping function, and ensure accurate financial reporting to support strategic decision‑making. CFO Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial and accounting operations , ensuring accuracy and compliance Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, cash flow, and general ledger Perform and review bank reconciliations , loan account reconciliations, and installment payments Monitor and review QuickBooks entries for accuracy and proper controls Supervise and support the Bookkeeper and finance staff Prepare financial reports, management analysis, and performance metrics Manage inventory reconciliation (physical inventory vs. accounting records) Handle year‑end close, adjusting entries, and financial documentation Support loan, credit, and financing applications , including factoring Manage trade transactions and broker commission accounting Partner with leadership, sales, and marketing on pricing strategies, budgeting, and forecasting Respond to supplier and customer financial inquiries as needed Supervisory Responsibilities All finance department staff report directly or indirectly to this role CFO Qualifications 5+ years of experience managing finance and accounting in a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong, hands‑on accounting background with full‑cycle responsibility Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Skills & Knowledge Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost structures, ROI, and inventory management Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Ability to collaborate closely with sales and operations to balance forecasting, inventory, and delivery timelines Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Bilingual skills are a plus Desired Traits Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently Team‑oriented with a cooperative mindset High attention to detail and quality Positive, goal‑driven, and professional attitude Comfortable in a hands‑on, small‑company finance role #
