Description Chief Financial Officer (CFO) | Non-Profit | Long Beach Area, CA Are you a mission-driven finance leader ready to make a lasting impact? We're partnering with a respected and growing non-profit organization in the Long Beach area seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role where you'll shape financial strategy, strengthen operations, and help drive sustainable growth while supporting a meaningful mission. You'll work closely with senior leadership to optimize performance, ensure compliance, and position the organization for long-term success.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide executive leadership across finance, including General Accounting and Revenue Cycle functions + Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams aligned with organizational values and goals + Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance + Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and balance sheet integrity + Deliver monthly financial insights and recommendations to improve performance and internal controls + Partner with leadership to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans + Lead the audit process and ensure timely completion of audited financial statements + Develop and refine financial models to support key strategic decisions + Monitor KPIs and financial metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership and the board + Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and partners

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the non-profit sector.
• Proven expertise in financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong skills in developing and managing complex financial models.
• Experience in overseeing audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Ability to manage corporate financial planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management, including billing and reconciliation processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across teams.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.
