We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer/EVP to join Summit State Bank team at our main administrative office. The Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of all financial functions of the Bank. As a publicly traded institution, this role includes primary responsibility for financial reporting, SEC compliance, investor relations, capital markets activities, and shareholder communications. The CFO partners closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to drive financial performance, ensure regulatory and public company compliance, and support the Bank's long-term growth, profitability, and shareholder value.QUALIFICATIONS
Significant executive-level financial leadership experience in a publicly traded banking institution or financial services company. Deep knowledge of SEC reporting, GAAP, SOX compliance, and public company governance. Strong understanding of bank regulatory frameworks, including FDIC, Federal Reserve, and California DFPI requirements. Expertise in asset/liability management, capital planning, and financial risk management. Proven ability to communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, investors, analysts, and regulators. High level of integrity, executive presence, and sound judgment.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or minimum seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or CPA preferred. Management accounting and investment training required.
