Delta Health is seeking a strategic, mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a community-focused, rural healthcare organization while making a direct impact on access to care in Western Colorado. Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall financial stewardship of the organization, including financial strategy, revenue cycle, budgeting, compliance, and long-term sustainability. The CFO partners closely with the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth.
This role is ideal for a financially strong, operationally savvy leader who values purpose-driven work, community impact, and a collaborative leadership environment. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic financial leadership aligned with organizational goals Oversee all financial operations including: Accounting and financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting Revenue cycle and reimbursement strategy Cash flow and capital planning Lead development of long-range financial plans and sustainability strategies Partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and productivity Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory requirements Present financial performance, forecasts, and key insights to executive leadership and Board of Directors Evaluate and support service line growth, expansion, and new program development Oversee financial risk management and internal controls Lead, mentor, and develop finance and revenue cycle teams
Minimum of five years' experience in financial/accounting roles, including leadership, within a healthcare environment.
Demonstrated success in enhancing hospital profitability through ongoing cost monitoring, particularly staffing in relation to patient volume.
At least five years of experience managing Business Office and Physician Billing operations to achieve cash collection targets and ensure accurate net revenue reporting.
In-depth knowledge of hospital finance, reimbursement processes, and revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of five years' experience in financial/accounting roles, including leadership, within a healthcare environment.

Preferred:
