CFO:
Provide overall financial leadership and strategic guidance to executive leadership and the board Oversee all accounting and finance operations, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and month‑end close Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and grant guidelines Lead treasury functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and investment strategies Direct the annual budgeting process and long‑term financial planning; monitor performance against budget Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and insights to support organizational decision‑making Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team Oversee annual audits, tax filings, and external audit relationships Manage nonprofit contracts and funding relationships with government agencies Support financial operations related to social service programs, including Medi‑Cal billing, behavioral health, family services, and case management Qualifications of the
CFO:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred Minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility Strong knowledge of nonprofit financial management, audits, and compliance Experience with treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Experience working with social service agencies and publicly funded programs Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Skills Preferred of the
